![]() Grabbing the wonder seed in "wonder mode" seems to automatically switch the level back to normal. ![]() You get one for clearing a level, and one hidden in the level's "wonder mode" section. From what we've seen so far each level has at least two, though I'm expecting some later stages to have more. These fragments disappear when you leave "wonder mode." Really curious what these purple coins are for. Grabbing these give you one tenth of a purple coin, with a decimal added to the coin counter to keep track of this. When you grab a Wonder Flower and go into "wonder mode," fragmentary purple coins appear. There are larger ones worth 10, and there is a UI bit that appears when you grab one indicating there seem to be three per stage, so they seem to be the replacement for Star Coins. These have a different counter than regular coins. In the underwater section with Peach and Daisy shows Daisy actually stomping a Cheep Cheep by falling onto it, something that is possible in the 3D Mario games but was never before possible in 2D Mario. Yoshi clearly works differently, but we haven't seen the other characters do anything unique. Super interested in how the separate characters work.
